ESSA membership is open to all individuals with a scholarly interest in pre-eighteenth-century Slavic studies. Membership fees are $35 per year ($10 for retirees and graduate students). Members receive the ESSA Newsletter by e-mail and are eligible to participate in the ESSA’s Annual Meeting, which is held at the convention of the Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES).
How to join
If you would like to join the Early Slavic Studies Association, you are most welcome. The easiest way is to pay the membership dues using the Paypal button below. An ESSA officer will then contact you and add your name to the member and mailing lists.
If you have any questions before or after you join, feel free to contact the ESSA treasurer or secretary.

The easiest way to pay your annual fees is to click “Donate” to be directed to our PayPal account or scan the QR code with your smartphone. You will then be redirected to a Paypal link that guides you through the payment process.
Payment may be made in any currency. Alternatively, members in the United States may pay annually by cash during the Meetings or by check on a U.S. bank, made payable to the Early Slavic Studies Association. For the address for payment by check, please contact ESSA Treasurer Václav Zheng.
Members who have started a subscription on the old ESSA webpage need to resubscribe.
